Playbook Dashboard is a powerful tool that gives you an overview of the progress and statuses of all your plans.
To access it, select a playbook from the dropdown list on the right side of the blue ribbon.
It will take you to the Playbook Home view with dashboard, that looks like this:
In the top right corner, click on the "Plans" selection to view the plans you want to examine closely.
A window will open, allowing you to filter projects by organization, project, and plans. Click on "Save" to confirm your selection.
The four small tiles at the top of the dashboard provide information about the selected plans, including:
1. The total number of selected plans
2. The total number of packages within the selected plans
3. The total number of packages that are either incomplete or in progress
4. The total number of completed packages within the selected plans
Now, let's take a closer look at the graphs below.
Plan Status
This donut-shaped diagram provides information about the statuses of selected plans. The statuses may vary depending on the configurations you have set up for your workspace. In this case, we can see that our four plans have three different statuses: Closed, Closed-Approved, and Open. Each of these statuses is represented by a segment of the donut. When you hover over the diagram, you will see additional information about each segment, including the total number of plans that have that status.
Planned VS Actual Packages by Plans
This bar chart illustrates the progress of your plans. The x-axis represents the Schedule Performance Index (SPI), which measures the percentage of planned packages that have been completed. Each bar corresponds to an individual plan, for instance, the SPI for the Highgate plan is 20%.
By clicking on one of the bars, you can view the SPI for each stage of that particular plan. Please note that the stages may vary depending on the plan.
Planned Vs Actual Deliverables Scheduled Performance Index
The following bar chart provides information about the monthly performance of all forms and files (deliverables) within the selected plans. Each month is represented by two bars: the grey bar on the left shows the total number of forms and files planned for that month, while the purple bar on the right shows the actual number of files and forms completed during that month.
When you hover over a pair of bars, detailed information about the deliverables will be displayed.
You can also adjust the period for viewing performance by dragging or resizing the purple time bar located below the chart.
Planned Vs Actual Package
The line graph compares the number of packages completed to the number planned for selected plans. The X-axis shows time in months, while the Y-axis shows the number of packages.
You can see the planned versus actual performance by looking at the two lines on the graph. The light dashed line represents the planned number of packages for each month, and the darker line shows the actual packages completed each month.
When you hover over a point on the line, you can see details about the number of packages for that month. For instance, 50 packages were planned for March 2025, but only 11 were completed.
You can also zoom in or out of the graph by clicking one of the six buttons at the top. This lets you choose the time frame you want to view, such as one month, one quarter, six months, year-to-date, or all packages in your selected plans.
List of the plans
At the bottom of the dashboard, you will see a list of all selected plans along with important details. By default, the following information is shown: the plan Title, Originator, and dates for when the plan was created, last updated, and when the status changed.
Similarly to CDE, you can customise the columns by clicking "Customise" in the bottom-right corner, to learn more about customising form view, refer to this article.
You can also filter and search for your plans.
Clicking on the form title will take you to the admin matrix view, where you can easily edit settings and adjust your plan.
