Edit Plans and Tasks

As a Workspace or Playbook admin, you may need to adjust the settings of your plans or tasks at any point during the planning process. Common edits include changing the owner of a package, extending task due dates, and updating required forms. Below, we provide instructions on how to make the most common adjustments to your plans or templates.

Edit Plan

To edit your Plan, go to Configuration view by clicking on the cog icon on the top right corner of any other view.

From there, you can edit everything except whether the plan is a template. You can adjust the following:

  1. Attributes Configuration

  2. Permission Matrix

  3. Code and Title

  4. Columns and Rows:

    1. change labels

    2. add

    3. remove

    4. add descriptions

    5. edit start and due date

  5. Hold Points:

    1. add

    2. remove

    3. change the hold point owner

    4. add bypass

  6. Playbook Admin and Manager

  7. Project Start Date

  8. Packages and Sub-packages

    1. add or remove

    2. change the owner, edit the start and due date, edit the title

Make sure to click "Update" to confirm your edits.

Edit Task

You can edit tasks from Matrix, Kanban or Calendar view. Select the task you need to edit and click on the pen icon at the right top corner.

A window will open where you can adjust all details of your tasks, including:

  1. Task start and due date (as long as it fits Package dates)

  2. Task Owner

  3. Task Title

  4. Configuration

    1. change task type (file or form)

    2. update the file/form or its details

    3. add or remove file/form

  5. Change guidance

  6. Provide examples

Make sure to click "Save Task" to confirm your edits.
